The Fad hopper car
This page starts with one of the most numerous and ubiquitous freight car in Turkey. It is also perhaps the only car fully designed and manufactured in Turkey. Except for the bogies, this car is completely original. This is a self discharge hopper, the discharge being done through the floor. This car exist in two variants: with and without side doors. The later are the most numerous.
This car has been optimized for bulk iron ore transportation and therefore can be easily seen along the iron ore routes to Iskenderun and Karabük.
