This station is the junction for the branch to Çivril.
The current station has a modern looking building and it is located inside the triangle. It is most likely that the station track layout was modified when the branch to Civril was closed.
Given the location of triangle, trains living Sütlaç to Civril had to reverse to reach the triangle. The same is true about trains coming from Civril which had to reverse to enter Sütlaç station. I presume that the Civril train entered Sütlaç station from the opposite to the train it was giving connection to in order to reduce the risk of an head-on collision.
It seems also that Civril had no facility to turn locomotives. The locomotives must have been running tender first on the way back, thus pushing their train to enter Sütlaç station.
