MT5500, which is serving the Göller Express from Isparta is pulling into Basmane station, This unit is in a sorry state but it has already expanded its useful life of 35 years. These units also serve between Basmane-Denizli. Despite their lower power and higher age, they make the route Basmane-Denizli in approximately 30 mins less than DE18100 hauled trains. August 2001. | A "strange" MT5500 train made of (from left to right) MT55071+MT5512C+MT5512. MT55071 has a heavy rebuilt front end which is now completely flat. MT5512 is a light rebuilt and only the windows are flat. pictures taken Selçuk in September 2001, by Altan Ataman. My own guess is MT55071 could be a rebuilt MT5507A making up for a not servicealbe MT5512A
